We're staying in the Middle East for this week's topics/blog. Remember that on Friday we're going to watch West Bank Story at the beginning of class. So, you need to blog about some issue/news story in the Middle East. The topics for this week's debate are as follows:

ReplyDeleteIn the Capital of Syria, Deir al Zour, a cracked down took place. Two were killed and five were wounded by Syrian forces. This incident took part because of the objection of the tribal region along the border of Iraq. Many bystanders from differnt town posted about the attack on facebook under the page called Syrian Revolution 2011. The attacking had already started in Syria in March and already 1,400 civilians and three hundred fifty personnel were killed.
