so,this qurl, aisha,was forced married to a taliban dude that would beat her up and stuff and then she left to go to her parents. according to shari'a law, women that run away will be caught and their male family members have the right to cut off their nose and ears and etc. SO, this qurl was caught and she got her ears and nose cut off. depressing,right? and then, she was abandoned by her hubby and his taliban gang. luckily, people saved her and gave her a plastic nose, yay!

shari'a law is a series of laws that 'help keep justice' for islamic people- sunna & qur'an.(like a bible..but more harsh) oh yeah, shari'a means "the path to a watering hole"
sentences: adultery, fleeing from your hubbies, drinking, theft, rape (if you are a victim of rape, you need at least 7 people to prove that you are innocent), & i can't think of anymore. but yeah...it's more unfair for women.
consequences or whatever: stoning (like that movie, stoning of something), lashing (flogging), cut off body parts, ETC. haha, it's like the death penalty, but more severe ..kinda-ish.
in my opinion, i think shari'a law is pretty insane, like..aisha didn't want to get beat up so she fled to her parents. what's wrong with that? even though it's 'illegal' ,people should be forced married! ...especially to a taliban member! anyways, i think it's whack...but it's religion so..i guess that's an excuse.
There are also many human rights groups that are trying to stop this but they fail.:(
