Week 7 Prompt and Motion

Hey guys!
I was so impressed with you all yesterday. We had a great debate and you all are speaking so very well. I want you each to blog about your progress through this first half of the semester and find a news story (any) that intrigues your interest. For this weeks debate, in light of the recent and ongoing News of the World scandal, the motion is: THW hold company directors liable for the wrongs of their company. I expect high quality stuff! Have a great week guys!

A pitcher who was born in Hyogo, Japan commited suicide in Los Angelos. Hideki Irabu was the first Japanese to join the American baseball team and had played in 2 World Cup Series. He was able to pitch in the major league for 6 seasons in 1997. He had a record of 34/35 win/lost. With the talent of a pitcher he was on a contract with the San Diego Padres baseball team. Then he was transfered from the San Diego Padres to the Yankees.
